As per title has anyone used this company to buy a car?
They seem to offer good deals.
I ve searched and read reviews which dont tend to be good... however Im aware that its generally only people with problems that post on review sites.

Has anyone here had experience of them? Or know of any pitfalls?

Cheers in advance.

A friend bought a Renault Clio through them - in essence they direct you to a dealer offering the best prices with whom you deal directly. Process couldn't have been easier and she saved £3000 plus the hassle of a main local dealer who was unhelpful, patronising and disinclined to do a deal. Given their model, I am sure there will be dealers who are less easy and part-exchange might be a problem.

There was talk of Broadspeed taking some sort of "facilitator fee" on top of the discounted price from the dealer. As the buyer you are never made aware how much this is. Obviously they have to make money on the deal in some way but I think what most people objected to was the lack of transparency as to how much Broadspeed was making on the deal.

They are middleman, you know what a middleman make a living from?

I been there in the middle of nowhere near the Essex/Suffolk border scenic area and asked around a few years ago. They told me the company disappeared and reappear again, I had to run like hell.

Make sure you get your car the moment you part your cash or you take the risk never to see your cash again nor the car.:D

Damn - I thought you meant this:

I am sure that Broadspeed are actually Inchcape , or one of the big car groups. I have bought a car via the internet in the past (2001), I used Drive the Deal. They. like Broadspeed, are just intermediaries, the money is paid straight to the dealer who facilitates the purchase.

If they are, it wont be located in a big house in the middle of nowhere with high wall. Check it out with Companies House if you are interested in buying a car with confidence. Yes they said they deal with big car dealers like Inchcape lobbying cars for sale.
