I have this problem every year ..I did a search on Google and the one answer was it came from bees . The scientist said they are bee droppings ..load of crap,, no its not,,, unless they fly at 20000 feet up , And i have seen no more than 10 bees throughout the summer and one of those i had to save from a window in my garage ... Funny thing is that the last few days they have changed colour to more of a yellowish . I know it was on some other members cars last year .Can anyone say just what it is ..i am on a flight path but only helicopters and few light planes .

I think it might be insect poop but I can't tell you which ones! I live in the French Countryside & get it on my cars too & we aren't on a flight path. Spiders shit too!

Always understood this to be fly poo.
Bad if you live in the country. Worse if you have a white car.

Chesterpiglet i dont feel so bad about in now, knowing you get s--t on also over in France ,, haha I will need to get some analised to find out for sure ..Ted if this is fly crap then the flys have very big bums ....

It is Bee's, and yes they can fly up around 13000ft. I get it every year, Houses across from us about 100yds don't. Local window cleaner moans that it takes him twice as long to clean the windows on our side of the Estate.

Delderek So you get this crap also . War depot [ wife ] she gets so mad because it gets on to the clean washing on the line,, and all over the windows of the bungalow. I thought it was fall out from the plane flight path . It is easy to remove .But gets me after you clean the car and look back at what you have done,,only to find spots of ear wax on the nice polished bodywork .

Yup similar on the washing, wife now keeps using the tumble dryer, with the projected cost of power next year I think the tumble dryer will go wrong next year about the same time as the Bee's arrive.

I've noticed this a lot on my cars recently too, any special technique or product to remove them, some of them are quite stubborn, thanks

Nope, just old fashioned washing, and heavy finger pressure with a wet microfibre on each and every stubborn one. The hand car wash I go to who use some sort of pre wash chemical spray seems to get rid of most of them.

I use Williams Waterless Wash and Wax it removes them ..but any good liquid spray car polish will remove them ..I still say its aircraft thats doing it ..wish i knew an analyst to solve this .

I get a fair bit of it on my motorcycles in the garage & in the conservatory. I'm pretty sure it's spider droppings. It's very small (1 to 2 mm diameter) brown spots.

I get this or something very similiar but its more a yellow duster type of colour, very waxy and very frustrating to see on a car washed a few hours before!!! Next time I think I'll go back to a golden painted car and just ignore the sh1t

A number of years ago I was responsible, among other things, for “matter allegedly dropped from aircraft” in the UK. We received reports from residents living not too far from a fairly large airport very much along the lines as given by the op. Fairly sure that it wasn’t aircraft related but an investigator was sent to get some samples. Once they were back in the office and before we had got them analysed, the samples were seen by another member of staff who declared “bee-poo.” She had quite a few hives and told us that the droppings were probably as a result of sickness in the affected bee colonies. After a quick phone call to some of the original complainants they were surprised but confirmed that there were more than a few dead bees found in the area. The diagnosis was confirmed by a lab and everybody with an interest advised including the local bee keeping society so that they could take any action to help with improving the health of the little buzzing things if they could find the source.
One of the cheapest investigations that I launched but very satisfying.

Grumpydriver Good information ..i use Google search last year and it came up with the same answer .Strange thing is i see no bees around ..I think this year i have seen many at all . Looks like my question was answered .

Ain't there enough Poo going on without the bees starting.

So...in the news today...
