I have just changed jobs and am taking a cash allowance instead of a company car.
For the last 12 months I have been driving a company Skoda Octavia 2.0 DSG
which goes back next week.
I already have a decent 2002 530d (that her Ladyship has been swanning around in) but I think it may be classed as too long in the tooth to qualify for the allowance (the BMW not her Ladyship!) so I'm looking around for a comfy cruiser.
The same spec in an E60 BMW is several thousand more, so this one looks like a good deal.
I had a 2001 W210 320cdi a while back but it rusted. It was a great car apart from that, but shattered my MB confidence, hence 530d.
