I am looking to buy a Mercedes-Benz GLK 220 CDI 4MATIC 7G-Tronic Plus, 170hp, 2013.
Earlier this year I drove a 350 CDI 4MATIC from 2010 and I loved it. I know the 220 isn't the same thing but it's gonna be enough and the fuel economy looks amazing.

I have found a potential car. Pretty much everything looks good but since the dealer isn't a MB one, rather they deal in all different brands they won't look up the online service history for me.

I feel a bit rude asking this but it would make me so happy. Is there anyone who is able to look up the service history for me with provided VIN?

Best regards,
Soon to be Mercedes-Benz owner

Welcome to the forum:thumb:

If a dealer wouldn't provide the service history I'd walk ,and tell them why.
I bought my E class from a non Mercedes dealer and they were happy to get the service history for me.
Hope you get the car of your choice anyway.

You could try calling MB U.K. to ask. It worked for me when buying my car, I wanted to verify the history so called and asked; they read it out to me over the phone. Though admittedly that was before the tougher data laws from GDPR.

But also I’d want to question why the dealer is selling the car without a recent MB service - which would include a print out of the full history. Mine came with a newly completed A service done at a local specialist, who had printed out the whole history.

Are you in Sweden? If so, I doubt UK dealers can assist re srvice history.

At that age it should have had it's auto gearbox fluid changed at 5 years old. Fuel filter every four years
