Sold an old steam engine recently and got paid by Paypal, so used the funds to buy some bits for my forthcoming Vito on eBay. Advertised as new and genuine M-B parts ... they certainly were, because the seller turned out to be a franchised M-B dealer parts dept.!

I bought some anti-theft wheel bolts, chrome indicator bulbs, and a spare bulb set ... next day delivery with a proper M-B invoice :bannana:

I used 'buy it now' for the wheel bolts as the price was already lower than RRP, for the bulbs I submitted 'best offers' which were immediately accepted. Of course some of the auction items will end up going over RRP by the time you add postage, but if you're careful you can get some good deals:

S & B Commercials, Herts.

Disclaimer - I have no connection with this seller whatsoever, other than being a satified customer. Their invoice says "Mercedes-Benz Commercial Dealer of the Year 2005" :)

PS they say
if you do not see what you are after in our shop then please contact us as there is very little we are unable to obtain
I assume a commercial dealership can get any M-B parts (I certainly got the RRP for the Vito parts I was interested in from a car dealership). Wonder what sort of discount they will do.

Just to add to this, the seller (Keith) is actually the parts manager at the dealership. Very helpful guy indeed, I just spent 10 mins on the phone to him - 01279 712230. He has an M-B car parts background, although working in a commercial dealership now.
