When using my AUX input on my W203 with an aftermarket bluetooth adaptor I was hearing a weird buzzing noise - originally I thought it was some kind of interference but it turns out I needed a ‘ground loop isolator’ to stop the noise. It turns out this is a result of the speakers and audio source using the same power source... (I think?)
These ‘ground loop isolators’ are cheap (the one I bought was £4) Audio 3.5mm Aux Ground loop Noise Filter Isolator For Car / Home Stero System UK | eBay
Obviously I already have the solution to my problem, but I thought I’d put a post up anyway to help someone in the future.
