Bye Bye Silver Arrow

I take it this is yours? You have a few bidders but even the Buy It Now price seems fair. Maybe the 54L engine is putting them off ;).
Yep Its mine.
The reserve price is set pretty low too!
I have recently done a check on autotrader and found one on a 51 plate that is cheaper (private sale) also found a couple for around the same price from dealers (although with higher mileage).
Maybe I just need to wait until next month and try again.
Mac.

The 54,000 plus cc's does seem excessive. I bet Scumag would make use of them!!:D

Perhaps the coma settled in the wrong place? ;) ;)

Good luck selling a very nice looking car,
John

best i can make use of is a 12ltr twin turbo V8. but thems diesels.

54L indeed.:D

I have been in that there CLK and it goes pretty well. in fact its the only time my niece, who was sat in the back, was quiet!

Stats007 should find a CL getting cheaper by the minute with Mercedes doing its level best to destroy our residuals by overproducing and then having to discount to sell. Some Merc dealers are offering up to £20,000 off list price for CL500's with under 100 miles on the clock. This one is over £27,000 off list

But it is high mileage. Been driven round the block for 950 miles!

Actually, yes you have:D

It's Nickg's old one ;)

:D :D I didn't recognise it - but then when I had it it didn't have silly wheels and a pano roof.....Should have guessed from the Becker sat nav and mileage I suppose. (And "full and complete service record")

Funny, because I looked at the picture and thought....what a lovely looking car.....!!

Yep, you are going blind.
Followed your link and was able to get a valuation, though not particularly favourable :(
Mac.

Must be these new glasses! On the Vauxhall link they ask do you mean 09/2002-2005. On Glass's biggest shown in 2000 is 4.3 litres. What value did you get? Are you 2000X ??

If you follow the vauxhall link. Then click on MB. Then click on AMG NOT CLK.
It is there.
It shows up at £14850 in top condition for teh P/X value.
Yes it is 2000 X.
Interested?

Thanks for that. Learn a liitle every day BUT how odd that they list under CLK the CLK55AMG but leave out the pre 2002 ones unless, as you say, you go into AMG.

At least on E-bay you are up near top part ex value which given fuel price scares and the reality of fuel at up to £1 a litre, is not as bad as it might have been. Maybe now oil prices are dropping a tad in recent trading, it will help. Good luck. My wife thinks the CLK should be our next car. Who knows!

Back toi CL's and the original thread, has the massive discounting of end of the run CL's filtered down to three year old ones and beyond, yet???

I don't think it's filtered down, more like the bottom fell out of the bucket.

I just can't understand why Merc do this especially with a flagship model which most of us drool over like the CL. You make a few dozen too many on the run out and then have to slash the price and wreck customers residuals. Makes no sense to me at all.
