C 204 brake squeal

My 250cdi has had brake squeal from new.Only when gently coming to a stop but annoying and enough to cause people to turn in the street. Had it to dealer twice and they have now fitted new rear pads and no more squeal ! Seems there has been a technical bulletin issued on the cure so if you have the problem tell the dealer

I have the same problem.

Dealer said I need to pay up for a caliper/pad strip down and clean - if the noise is still there them MB will pay for new pads and I get a refund. Needless to say I declined and will hope a good workout at Goodwood will fix it!
