c class m111 engine

ive just done an oil change last week, i know the m111 engine is known to have a leak just above the chain tensioner,on the corner,now it seems to be geting worse,do i have to get a new gasket,or can i put wynns stop oil leak in it, or should i leave it in to a garage to fix

It is time to think about changing the Gasket. This is the only cure....

If its easy to get to the leaking joint you can get a stop leak stick looks like a candle and you rub the stick into the leaky joint classic car supplier etc.

Wynss stuff wont work been there and tried that years ago.

What oil did you put in it?
