Can anyone tell me if the C ervice is the same as the A or B and whats involved please:dk:

C suggests that there are other items and more labour involved than a straight service.

Neither of my cars have anything other than A or B, and so I have no direct experience of what to expect. What I have heard though is that any service other than an A or B has been phased out to either A or B plus additional items.

Your car is a 211 i presume.

To be honest the c service means nothing on the dash it was an old thing they used and havent changed it. Your car will be due a minor or major service and then what other additional things it will need depending on age and mileage of the vehicle

If you take a look at the Mercedes-Benz ESS and enter your vehicle details, all will be made clear :thumb:

Welcome to yet another traveller on the wild and wacky Assyst + road.

Basically Assyst + letters mean nothing other than a rough approximation as to how much work the car thinks you need (letters correspond to number of hours).

The actual service sheets use A and B for minor/major. (The A and B on the service sheet bears no relation to the letters reported by your car - makes sense ... huh?).

Use the MB electronic service sheet to figure what might be needed (it lists stuff to be checked/replaced based on age/mileage).
