I have decided I am going to swap my C Class estate for an E Class Estate, it just isn't big enough for lugging stock between our shops.

Bought the car in Sept last year and paid £2600 for it, well £2450, I have done the 'new car' thing of sorting all the niggles out, as you do.

119k miles
Full service History.
Last service was 300 miles ago.

Since I have had it it has had brake fluid change, coolant change, filter change, pollen filter change, and oil service.

It has also had new anti roll bar bushes, drop links, front upper and lower control arms fitted, at a total cost of nearly £700.

Thermostat was also fitted when the coolant change was done, which was back in October I think.

I have receipts for all work done.

The car is fitted with Dunlop Winter Sport 4D tyres all round, brand new. 8mm all round.
These are superb tyres and work well in summer too.
(I do have a pair of summer tyres I can include too, these could go on the front and a new pair fitted to the rear, camskill have them listed at £62 each.)

I have spent £1400 on this car since getting it in September. :D

So pretty much perfect then??
Well, no.

The arches have had rust bubbles on them, and it was treated and then rather crudely painted with Hammerite.
That was the first thing I was going to get done, however, on getting the car I decided you never really noticed till looking, so haven't bothered. You can tell from the pics that it really isn't an issue.
if I were to do it I would buy two new wings from ebay, £38 each, and get them sprayed.

There is also a scuff on the front bumper...

There is also some light swirl marks on the bonnet and roof, but sure these would polish out.

Overall the car is great though, mechanically spot on, does 46mpg with lots of shorter runs and will do 50+ on a motorway run at 85mph and over 60mpg on a steady 60mph run.

£2500 ovno.

That was meant to read ".........well, £2450 plus the tax,........."

Oh, one other thing, it will have the standard Audio 10 CD unit installed in it.

I am keeping this for the next few weeks.

Thanks to every one who wanted to come and see it. Sorry for being a messer.

I have been let down on the car I was buying, and I can't let this go until I have something else. :(

Plus with the snow it looks terrible, hardly a way to view a car, covered in slush.

So for now I am taking this off sale.

I am hunting hi and lo for another E Class that is sound.

I totally forgot I was booked in for a transmission fluid change today, he called me to see where I was, and as I was off today anyway (and because I felt guilty) I went over and had it done.
Manage to get 6 litres out in total, and the difference is amazing. Feels like a new gearbox.
I thought it was ok before, but this has transformed it.
