I'm not 100% sure of the iPod adapter to be honest, but the phone is normally mounted in the centre armrest if it is the same as the CLK (there will be a cradle with a curly cord, suitable for Nokia 63xx series).

For maps, it will be the DX map CD and you can get the latest version from Comand Online for £125 - linky

If you do have the phone in the centre arm rest, you can convert it to Bluetooth using the ViseeO adapter, which has a Parrot chip inside so syncs address book over and works great. Linky I fitted one of these to my CLK and it works fantastically.

The phone function will only work if you have the optional kit fitted from the factory. There should be a connector in the top of the centre armrest.

thanks chaps, yes i do have the nokia cradle in the arm rest, would i be able to play my music from my iphone if i had the bluetooth adaptor as well as use the phone?

Not 100% sure on that one to be honest, I wouldn't expect it too though.

You could ask comand online to confirm.

cheers BD i think i will call comand online when their next open and have a chat... thanks all

For iPhone to work as car phone all you need is mbu 1000 avail on eBay readily for cheaper than 150 , for your music to work through comand you need something else available from comand online , I use the iPod aux in the glove box
The guys are helpful there
Hope this helps
