I thought things were too good to be true!
On a drive home from Andover today I noticed that my accelerator travel did not seem to be equating to the cars usually eager performance.
Although the car would still kick down one or two gears there wasn't the usual umphh! Almost as if the car was missing the S/C.
Anyway, after a while I booted it and the power was back.
Then it would cut again.
I did a trawl through the usual forums and found that it could be the IC pump.
There was no malfunction light and the car would still rev up to red line (eventually) before changing up.
Looks like I will be visiting Olly at PCS again.
Any ideas on the cost of this item if I need to replace it?
Adrian.

THE achilies heel of the C32. It's only a matter of time I'm afraid.

If you buy a Ford lightening pump from the US I believe you can get for even less than $100, but it does require the connectors to be adapted when fitting.

Had mine done under warranty, so no idea of cost, sorry.

PS Didn't you get a warranty with the car?
