As some of you may of noticed I've been truncking around for a C55 and loooking to spend a few extra hard earned for a V8.

However Ive come to the conclusion that whilst all the C55 i've seen are nice they are not necassarily worth those 1000's more than the C32. Anyway i've decided to go down the moding path and need a little 'direction'. I don't want to jump straight in but thinking of a decat, smaller puller and Eurocharged set up of some sort and the Quaiffe diff in steps but as a starter.

Dont want more that say 380-400 ponies, want to retain the drivability and retain easier servicing ideally through my friendly MB gargare who are actually more like a merc approaved indy. :D

Thoughts on products, progression first steps etc;- I was thinking the exhaust and quaffe first?

I would do the diff and exhaust firstly.

Then a uprated charge cooler and Johnson CM30 pump.

Then if all is good a pulley and re-map to finish.

If you need a Quaife or a pump just give me a shout!

First things first make sure everything is running as well as it can, so big service incl plugs all fluids etc. Then check the intercooler pump is good! You'll probably get the smaller pulley, map and sl55 intakes for the cost of the quaife! But the LSD is a good way to go. Some have changed suspension so it handles better than the stock setup! Mines a wagon so handling wasn't at the top of the list or I'd have bought a saloon! Other than that is down to preference, powwwwer or handling, or like Joe (Benzdup) both!

One of the best mods is the coilover kit for a 203. Even the Estates handle well with the kit. It also helps with traction.

65mm pulley/Jerry tune and SL intakes should see you to 380 hp

For reliable power at all temps, sort the cooling first.

Thanks all, I'll deffo get the serive first, had a new rad etc and there do not seem to be any cololing issue, whats a good coilover to augment the Quaffe

Good morning BenzedUP I'll take the filters if still available. As a new member I couldn't reply to your ad. Let me know thanks Simon
