C350 Petrol for this weekend.

What the little image of the car and "lollipop" tot he right of the E in the central display?

It's one of the Driver Assist options. This one reads speed limit signs and displays it on the LCD screen in the speedo. Makes it hard to miss.

Somewhat useful, but a major PITA along the 50mph section of the M1 as you're constantly battered with the speed limit info.

Looking at those mpg figures, it seems like petrols will soon be the new diesels, if you catch my drift...

Edit: having said that, the W212 E350 265bhp CDi that I had for a month would do 50mpg on a run without trying too hard.

The best I had was 56mpg, so maybe the petrols are just keeping pace with the frugality of diesels and not catching it.

Aye, is doesn't compare with the equivalent Diesel, but it's not as painful as it could be.

Y'gotta drive them both for a weekend :)

Pray tell; how does one arrange that?

I'm still waiting for 'my' dealer to get back re my M Class enquiry about 9mths ago and I registered on the MB site for the new one prior to its launch and have heard nothing. :(

list price for CLS 350 and CLS 350 CDi is the same ...

is that true for C class too?

Ask your local sales person. You'll probably get a 24hr test rather than a whole weekend though. :thumb:

So how does it compare to the c350 cdi?

Sorry, forgot all about it. :o:wallbash:

I knew I had something to do this weekend. :D
