We are nearing the end of my 190 C36 build and have hit a snag for which I am asking for help .
After completing the installation of the engine we ran it for a while and realised it needed a new head gasket , this was done and also the head was skimmed .
Upon reinstalling we cannot get the engine to run properly under all conditions . We think that the timing is out , but when we re-timed it we are still no closer to solving the problem .
Is the C36 timed differently to all other M104 engines ?
The garage has no problem with my 320-24 engine in my 93 Coupe .
Can anyone please post a link that will illustrate the C36 timing procedure ?
Many thanks .
