c36 outside temp sensor

hi i have a w202 c36 that has a dull outside temp display on dash and its also reading 30 deg

is this just a new sensor need at the front bumper or is their some thing else too look out for

probably a new probe

thanks i tought the same will the dash light become bright when a new sensor is fitted do you know

The bulb for the temp display has probably blown and needs replacing for that by the sounds of it

Aah thanks gurpz, see I never thought of that. If its gone dim, could be as simple as a bulb. Either way you'll need to take the dash apart

ya i had to pull the key off the owner s hand he really did not want to sell it i think it needs work to bring it up to my standards back to factory amg spec loose the 6 grand radio system in it and a serious clean , clean , strip and clean and so on

w202 c36 amg
w202 c250 td in scrap yard for bits and bobs

ya it should be she a nice color two a dark grey

i have not seen that color before
