It is - I only very recently had the insurance payout on this, after an epic battle. I think it was auctioned recently by the salvage agents. The fact they've put a new wheel on it at the front n/s makes it the damage look less serious than it did immediately after the accident.
I had the option on the salvage but chose to leave it - believe me when I say, it was a hard impact at 60/70mph which launched the car into the air - and when it hit the ground again, it hit hard (I had the seatbelt bruises and limp to prove it!). The sill was also bent out when the n/s wheel impacted the a-post (which was the only thing that slowed the car down as I lost braking and steering). I'm pretty sure the engine was pushed up on impact and the pics on the ebay ad make it look that way.
It also scraped along the road a fair old way on it's underside (see gouge marks on carraigeway behind car) and I think was hiding more damage than is immediately obvious. Hence I eventually decided to walk away. May not be a massively expensive repair, but factor in the fact it's a Cat D, and the various other bits and bobs (rust etc) that'll need doing on it, and it looks less convincing. A straight one makes more sense IMO.
