Recently iv been getting rubbing on my arches in the front (little bit of feel through the whee nothing major) and loud grinding/knock/creak over bumps when anyone is in the back. Iv had the car about 9 months? and it never use to grind even with a car full of people.

I had it up on a ramp at a specialists who said apart from the springs looking a little bit rusty he couldnt see anything wrong.

It rides on 18'' wheels, and im pretty sure i was told its on number 1 pads and it does look fairly low. so i was wondering if it just a case of replacing rusty no1 pads/springs being the cure or needing a whole different pad thickness?

you still run on factory springs and shox?
you have this raked look on your car which I also had before I changed my front spring pads.
I have the thinnest pads front/rear, however with new pads upfront my car raised 0.5 cm now getting an ugly even stance look.
raked look was hot.

You'll have to buy 9 or 13mm pads if you want it higher.

Front pads
210 321 01 84 #1 = 5mm
210 321 02 84 #2 = 9mm
210 321 03 84 #3 = 13mm
210 321 04 84 #4 = 17mm
210 321 05 84 #5= 21mm

Rear pads
210 325 01 84 #1 = 5mm
210 325 02 84 #2 = 9mm
210 325 03 84 #3 = 13mm
210 325 04 84 #4 = 17mm

All the springs and shocks are standard as far as im aware. I probably will go a bit higher although like i said it use to be fine even when fully freighted.

pads are some thing i have never replaced as they always look good and im a bit mad i try and keep the underneath of my car as good as i can and all joints sprayed up and kept tip top

i have been known to polish parts under the car and replacing any rusty parts my 202 has nearly all new running gear drive great and tight as a drum
