C55 amg with no history, should i be afraid?

As i mentioned i have lined up slot for inspection already just in case ;)
Cannot say until I arrive at they facility. Once I see what's there I will have more confidence. can also try Google or call facility that done checks and confirm. I believe as a trader he will endlforce a trade agreement with return clause which I will ensure its there.
Just tell the seller that your purchase is subject to a satisfactory inspection by your specialists.

@MrGreedy Thanks for that. If I likes how it presents and drive during view, I will take to a Mercedes mechanic that only do Mercedes for last 25 years or so and refuse to do any other makes. Have a long waiting time in his garage but managed to squeeze in to queue for thorough inspection.

Good plan. However, as Whitenemesis already said, statutory rights are one thing, enforcing them is another. Have you checked out the vendor's reviews in every source you can find? Have you checked Companies House records to see how long the company has been in business, who the company officers are, and what their previous/other directorships are?

Worst possible case, you have it inspected, there's plenty that needs doing, more than you can afford or are prepared to spend on it, and the vendor refuses to help. Can you afford to take the car back, leave it on the forecourt and hand over the keys, and wait a couple of years for the case to be heard?

Best possible case, it's well-nigh perfect and you're a dog with two tails.

Most likely case, there are things that need doing, and the vendor isn't willing to help, so you pay for what's needed, keep the car, and either file a claim (and wait a couple of years) or not, depending on how much you've spent.

(I'm being realistic, not pessimistic; there are honest dealers, but in my experience most will do all they can to avoid spending or refunding anything once you've driven away.)

It's the Dirty Harry question; "Do ya feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?"...

From reaserch i done there is not much i can find about them. I will be cautious 👌
In case if I will struggle i can afford to wait and I am patient with this kind of things. Depending on what need doing, I have done valuation in webuyanycar and they offer already £200 more than I give offer to trader so maybe always a way.

Over almost 20 years experience I have only 1 lemon which was mini R56 😅 other than that last r32 I purchased without no history and all was mint. Hold it for over 2 years 👌
I think I may have more luck than brain but like challenges 😁

Maybe you might put on who it is and others on here might find more information for you.

Looks lovely. COMAND NTG2, Sunroof...

Has the windscreen damage been repaired?

Also both rear tyres close to legal limit, these and the windscreen were advisories.

I have seen these and I am aware. I think if some suspension or braking system would be not right would be added also in to raport if tyres and chip to windscreen been added?
Only small scratch o/s front bumper by sensor. Apart from that from looks at this millage cannot complain. Will see maybe I will drop by there tomorrow afternoon to have a look.

looks lovely bud :)

That looks pretty decent to me too.

Yes, not yer average lying back-street bodging scrote at all by the look of it.

Sorry, how to understand that sentence ? English is not my 1st language 🙈

Looks a good car and the dealer has 100% positive feedback, so he seems a decent trader.
If we looking at eBay feedbacks, we see plenty of purchased stuff not sold and hence the rating. Not sure what to expect but still got a faith in finding a hidden gem that everyone avoids 😁

Overpriced for a c55 with no service history.

Price on eBay do not reflect what I offered £7k as a max ;) still due to negotiate during viewing.
