Dont forget though guys 255 wide tyres actually vary in width ( I can hear your eyes rolling from here ) - not all tyres are equal I kid you not.

When I had my R26 megane , it ran 235 section tyres.

The OEM ContiSports were 10mm narrower than the aftermarket Michelen PS2.

Typically some manufacturers are more generous with their dimensions than others!
