Hi all,

I'm considering painting the calipers on my motor before they have chance to get too grubby (7k miles at the mo) using suitable paint and technique.

Now the BIG one, what colour should I go for? The cars in Cubanite Silver and I had considered going for red.

Avialable colours include:- white  red :) silver, black, gold, yellow :bannana: and BR green and optionally leave well alone.

What do the masses out there think?

Champagne / Gold, like Brembo ....

Thanks for the ideas so far, I'll sleep on it and make a call tomorrow, cheers........

Black, we're a conservative lot aren't we

If you've got drilled & grooved discs you could possibly get away with red calipers.

Size matters!
If you have puny little brakes then use black as you dont want to draw attention to them.
However if they are great big macho brakes then maybe silver.

Do you have standard brakes? Or are they sport? i.e. drilled with mercedes logo on front brakes?

As for colour ...why not do each side different...no one sees both together......

Champagne / Gold, like Brembo ....
Bronze is the colour you want, like Howard said. Not gold though, there is a subtle difference.

Of course if you do paint them gold then after a month they'll look bronze anyway ;)

Yellow.... lol only joking... my vote goes to Red.. they would look a subtle flare depending on how much of them you would see through the wheel.

I think red is a bit Halfords myself . You will find brembos in a variety of colours anyway but i like the gold , black is user friendly though.

Thanks to all who gave input.

Black they will be! Mainly after looking at R2D2's motor, cracking car you have there sir :)

Thank you kindly! Black looks cool and doesn't show the dirt so much.
