After publishing the target figures of Mauri with 24v engine the other projects have been revised and a lot is happening in the garages during this winter. We will see the results in Dyno and track next summer, target is 10.x seconds@quartermile, not bad for an old smoking diesel.
These cars are daily drivers, having done ~300.000 miles before conversion and still doing 25.000 miles / year, not dedicated racers. The durability of stock MB diesel engine is a miracle, since most of the SuperTurbo engines are still unopened and internals unmodified.

Are all the driveline components standard and are final drive ratios altered to give higher speed?
Has anyone tried this yet with any electronically controlled injector pumps?
How do these Guys get insurance???
