SL55 AMG. CLK 500.
I would like a definitive answer please to save wasting money on things that i may not need.
I want to fit my sl55 amg wheels to my GF's clk 500 directly or with the addition of H&R hubcentric front and/or rear spacers and if spacers are needed which size would i need IE, 5mm, 10mm etc. I will obviously have the wheel alignment and camber checked and adjusted to compensate for the slightly different offset
The wheels are standard 5 spoke 7.5/8.5 18" with 255/285 tyres.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes you can.... I had SL500 wheels fitted to my CLK500 years ago with out spacers but new bolts.... as you can see they fit the arches great.....

Also i think mine were 8.5 and 9.5x18....

Yep. No spacers and special bolts.

M12 thread, M14 seat.
Alloy wheels direct sell them.

Excellent, hers are well past their sell by date, thanks lots to you both.
@ Baldguy, thx for those pics too, they really do set it off nicely, looks much better than the standards.

You need bolt pack 4 mate.

You'll also need smaller tyres.

Thanks mate, i just rang about bolt pack 4 from AWD and they confirmed i would need front/rear 225/245.
Cheers for the help.

What are the wheel offsets?

You should be able to run 255/35/18's on the rear no problems.

I've got SL55 turbines with 9.5" wide rears et33 and I run 255/35's with plenty of space. Mind you I've got a W208.

Surprised they told you 225/245.

225/40/18 and 255/35/18 would be the preferred sizes.

I probably could, i think they were being a little conservative.
Either way it's not happenng unfortunately as i would have to buy 4 new tyres and thats pointless, i'll put them on ebay and find her another set.
