If I buy a used climate head unit from UK or USA with fahrenheit digits display can I access settings and change to celsius without using stealership or STAR?
This climate digital display had several updates seen on partsnumbers 11 85 - 12 85 - 13 85 and for latest is 14 85.
I don't know what a 99 c43 have if it's the latest version?
My display is fading and it's annoying me a lot!!
Buying new is not an option these parts still have a frikkin' nightmare pricetag at the stealership!!

Salvage yards always claim displays works great, put it in the car and all vibrations from the car during traffic will tell different.
