Can you recommend a detailer in East Yorkshire?

The C63 I'm buying is in excellent condition and has been well looked after by the original owner. I'm thinking about having it professionally detailed and protected , including alloys, and would be interested in Detailers you have used and would recommend in East Yorkshire. I'm in Beverley but would be happy to travel 50/60 miles.

I would recommend Paint Correction | Lincolnshire | Auto Elite Detailing based in Lincoln.

My next detail would be with that guy. I've no connection but saw him at work on a couple of nice, new cars at a regular customer of his, when I was at a viewing with my wife to buy the house next door.

I had never seen a detailer at work before (this is my first new car for decades) so stopped to have a chat with him. A couple of things that struck me about this guy. First off, relatively young, energetic, detail-oriented and efficient. He was working as he was chatting, didn't stop. He also said he had dedicated cloths and bucket for each customer car he cleans! The car's looked pristine. IIRC he said it was a regular monthly detail. Was impressed with his whole demeanor and industry. I asked for his card. And added his details to my contacts list (I only do that when I'm very likely to use them).

The only reason why I haven't used him yet after 9 months of car ownership is that I ended up interested in detailing my car myself and built up loads of gear to do it properly! I found that I enjoy doing it myself as well as the bonus of getting a good baseline, if I get someone else to do it.

Like you I wanted to get the car professionally detailed very soon after getting the keys, which I did with someone else lovely, but I wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome. Hence the research and product testing [emoji3].

Just purchased an 09 plate C63 off Jason, he owns Car Valet Edinburgh | Privilege Detail | Detailing and Valeting - his attention to detail is outstanding, not sure if you would be willing to travel but, for anyone living in the Edinburgh area, I would not hesitate to contact Jason. I can honestly say that I haven't seen a 9 year old car look so straight

Quite naturally I wont be travelling to Edinburgh for a detail but Jason was happy to share with me his knowledge and what an eye opener that was!! He handed me a couple of products to get me started, I then ordered a whole host more! suffice to say that I'll be clearing out my current cleaning stock, didn't realise how important it is to use the right products and how damaging the off the shelf stuff can be

I too can't wait to get stuck in this weekend
