Canbus & w638

Hi and help,

I have a Vito 638. R reg
Does it have Canbus?

I bought an Audio 10 head-unit from ebay
Ha ha, trimmed the dash so pretty committed
and it comes up with 'PROD'
which I learn is a canbus stereo and vehicle not mating message

I can have the canbus recognition reset for £25
Will it work in the old girl.?
What other options might be good?

As they say, fools rush in.

Congratulations on having an R registered Vito that has not rusted away to nothing!

Sorry but can't help on your Q but I'm sure someone will be along soon to answer constructively!

Yes it is rusty, scabby, has needed welding and tatty, but I have done less than 75k in 14 years so it is relatively reliable.
