While I'm disappointed it's only a standard SE after all, I guess I'll just have to highlight the extras in any ad to sell and hope for the best.

I wouldn’t worry about it, just advertise it as an SE, and state that the previous owner added some AMG style parts including wheels, spoiler and additional badges.

You’re then being up front about it and not pretending that it’s something that it’s not. In reality the average buyer has no idea other than what the seller tells them.

It’s a lovely car though, wishing you the best for a quick and easy sale.

Another vote for petrol (I have never had diesels), but I searched for years before I could find one, at least at a reasonable distance from me.
