e350 Cabriolet
Hi all! I'm hoping someone can help me, but this may be an odd question.
I own a 2010 Mercedes E350 cabriolet which I absolutely love, sadly due to Genghis Khan and his tax on motorists im being forced to sell as it's not ULEZ compliant.

What is puzzling me, having looked on auto trader etc to try and get an idea on value - is what model I actually have!
My v5 shows a E350 SE CDI BLUEEFFICIENCY.

When I looked on autotrader I noticed a number of other variants - amg sport, amg line, amg line edition etc.

Now where I'm confused is my e350 has "amg edition" badges on the side, amg floormats, a rear spoiler - and id always been under the impression it was an amg edition of some sort, but now based on the v5 I'm not sure - would that state it? And how do I check which variant I actually have?

I'll attach some pics if I can work out how to reduce the size but if there are any specifics to check to confirm please let me know, looking on parkers was so confusing as every trim level seemed to have similar options !

If you google mb vin decoder free, one of those sites should give you the full specification of your car, which could tell you whether or not it has AMG packages fitted.

There were 2 models of the C207 then, the SE (17" wheels, grey headlining, leather seats) and the Sport (18" wheels, artex leather, black headlining). There were several other differences, ie Sports had cross-drilled discs, and of course both could be fitted with numerous options. With the 350s, they were mechanically and suspension-wise the same (4-cyl Sports differed from the 4-cyl SE).

I suspect that you have an SE model with AMG badges and mats.

Thank you I'll definitely try that!! I really hope it sheds some light.

Mine has 19 inch wheels, they are badly curbed now (im getting them refurbed on Monday..), but I'm sure they originally had AMG labels as well. I've tried googling for them and they seem quite unusual so maybe they were after markets

It's a Euro 4 diesel
It's not Euro 6 and therefore not ULEZ compliant

Euro 4 petrols are (at the moment)

Though 2010 it should be euro 5 ....

Wheels, mats, badges and exhausts, it has had some money spent on it.
Outside of London, that could sell well, albeit it isn't convertible season now if you do have to sell it...

I think it's an SE: I can't see the controls for multi-contour seats (std on Sport, optional on SE), it doesn't look as if it has ILS (intel. light system, again std on Sport, optional on SE), looks like SE front bumper, rear I can't see very well on my screen but exhaust non-std (4 tips not fitted or an option). Grey A-pillar trim says SE.

It's an SE with bits added (18 & 19" wheels were factory options). I *think* Sports had silver surrounding the dash, SEs black, and that looks black.

They do sound like aftermarket / replica wheels. AMG ones don't have labels ... the logo is always cast into them somewhere e.g.

Thanks all! Really helpful. Its amazing how much you guys know and how quickly you have been able to help .
While I'm disappointed it's only a standard SE after all, I guess I'll just have to highlight the extras in any ad to sell and hope for the best. It's very low mileage (just over 40k!) and I wouldn't sell it for a minute if it wasnt for ULEZ.
On a related note, I was considering a newer Euro 6 C200 as a replacement option (I'm shortlisting a few at this point but do prefer the Mercs!!) but having seen bad reports on reliability I may have to pass. I guess I could get a Euro 6 E350 but it would pain me to fork out what will probably be a fair chunk on top of what I get for mine for what's likely to be the same car with worse mileage etc ..

I love the low driving position and find my car really comfortable, if anyone has any recommendations for something similar (that's euro 6 and automatic) - I'm always open to ideas!

Amazing thank you, I had a feeling the last owner added the exhaust himself as well as the black grill but didn't know about the wheels. I'll double check the other bits but think youre right, it must be an SE

I would personally avoid diesels ... we've had a 2019 C300 (petrol turbo) for a couple of years and love it. Quiet and refined, 254 bhp so plenty of poke but still gives mid 40s mpg on a long run. Interior is streets ahead of previous C Classes - very classy. Not a cabriolet, but I have my 1997 SL500 for that :D

Your E350 cab. is based on the previous generation (W204) C Class.

Oh! If you have those badges then you deffo have a fully fledged amg! Wow congrats!

You're a little quick with the sarcasm there mate. With so many variants listed on autotrader it's really difficult to know the differences between them, hence I asked for help from people who know their stuff and are kind and helpful.
If you don't know or aren't helpful.. move along 😁

Your rims look like these AMG twin Spokes:

But it seems they're replicas as it appears this 'genuine article' of this design was only made in 18"

I'd second that. The Adblue that makes the later diesels Euro 6 compliant seems to cause a lot of problems.
