Carsoft 7.4

Have any of you had any experience with the "Compatible" Carsoft interfaces that are on sale on several websites.

They seem to retails around the £150 mark supplied with no software but as everyone knows the internet can get you anything you want or there's always ebay!

mate notr sure how good carsoft is on BMW its crap you cannot programme modules or anything like that, not sure if its the same on mercs my indy uses the GT1 yeah its top dollar but its a wicked machine and does everythign mian dealers can do

You can buy a USB to OBD2 interface that should work fine for £60 on eBay.

Is there anyone on here using diagnostic equipment that doesn't cost the earth?

There is a fair bit of shareware out there for OBD2 - how specific it is for Mercedes I'm not sure. You get what you pay for at the end of the day.
