CE300 On LPG

As is in my other thread, i was meant to go look at a CE this Saturday unfortunatley now sold..

Ive seen another one thats caught my eye but has LPG conversion

Is this is a good or bad thing??

Check with your favourite mechanic/garage to make sure they are qualified to work on LPG converted cars. Check with your insurance company to see if they will cover you. Check that the LPG conversion was done by a qualified company, they are listed on the gov't powershift website I think.

If all that comes back ok then you could effectively double the MPG you expect to get from a 300CE because LPG is about half the price of petrol. Don't pay a premium for it though, from what I have seen cars with LPG conversions are often worth LESS than their unmodified counterparts.
