An outlet I've been in touch with offers both maps for the C63. Both comparable gains, one is circa £100 cheaper. I've had a Eurocharged map before. Anything to note about Celtic before I book one over the other.

Eurocharged is better known.
Depends on what you are willing to spend.

Had mine done at PCS with a Celtic map, Simon from Eco tune is a regular visitor to Olly's, must say Simon was very thorough taking his time to get it right at each stage, removing the ECU and cloning the original in his van, very professional and more than willing to discuss his work at each step.

Any reason why you chose Celtic over the EC remap Tony?
Didn't your 55k have an EC map?
Just wondering:D

Hi Roger, yes the 55 had an EC Map, and nothing wrong with it either.

I blame Olly as it was going to stay stock:D, the main reason was a technician on site doing it, and if it all went horribly wrong the on site backup.

It only takes a current spike at the wrong time to ruin the write to the ECU, and thats why the ECU was removed to duplicate the original.

I had a Eurocharged map on my last C63. Given PCS are offering both, with comparable gains I just wanted to gauge an opinion before I go with one or the other. Money is not the concern.

Thought you would have gone with Rebellion.

Me personally would be Eurocharged for the free updates.....version 5 now I think.

Having done both then it has to be Celtic as simon is a tech on site signed up to them with all the technical support they give to the mobile technicians.

And he was in contact with the main base during the work on my car, which gave me peace of mind during the ECU flash.

I've kept my options open as the market has moved on a lot since I had my other one. Just happy to get feedback. PCS seem very helpful indeed.

Perfect Timing : PCS are really close to me and I contacted them just yesterday and asked what they had to offer........ they came back to me with the Celtic Tune, suggesting the result would be around 520bhp and 485lbs Torque.

If I went for the Eurocharged it would probably cost me considerably more due to the distance I'd have to travel.

If the maps give similar results and both have a good reputation, then the PCS offer would be the logical one for me. I'm not chasing numbers, just knowing I've got that extra power if I need it would keep me happy.

Olly at PCS is a top guy you will not be disappointed.

Eurocharged for me direct from Jerry in Houston with his handheld device I can swap the map when ever I want to.

.

Correct me if I'm wrong Jim, but last I heard PCS were agents for Eurocharged remaps as well as Celtic.
No extra travel to Watford required necessary:dk:

Considering the figures claimed are pretty much the same, Celtic do make more sense if its a decent saving.
