Central Locking

My brother has a 15 plate C class.The car does not lock automatically when you have been in it for 30 seconds or so like every Merc i have ever owned.I have lopked in the Manual and cannot see anything relating to this.Any ideas anyone if this is a fault.Many thanks.

Auto locking will be turned off in the dashboard menu .

I had to trawl through the menus in my S203 to disable it as I hate the feature .

Thanks Pontoneer,,,the only reason he wants to activate it is that his Missus works night shifts in the Hospital and has to drive through Glasgow in the small hours.Cheers

On mine there are two buttons on the drivers door which are used to manually operate all of the door locks. To turn the auto locking feature on or off you hold one of buttons down for a few seconds until it beeps.
