Changing airbag control module in 210

Cheers Bob, yes plenty of cheap / free 210 parts still available!
Is my module, '99 so an early one, worth a punt, given the data above?

Thanks for that, what's the part number?

So far everything points to the need for an exact part number match. The airbag specialist has also told me that the manufacturers number would need to match, so I intend to try to access the module at the weekend to get a photo. I'm hoping to do this with the module in situ, not sure if that's possible though.

The plot thickens...got in there to look at the module and the part number is different. 002 820 21 26,

This suggests to me that it has already been changed in the past, and it concerns me that perhaps the airbags would not function correctly in the event they were required.
