Changing some us 221 settings to eu

Hello, I bought a 221 imported from America recently.

I want to change the labels on the instrument cluster to icons, as is the norm outside the US. Another Americanism I'd like to disable is the infernal seat belt beeping. I'd like to keep just the red icon.

I heard that one can change the region from the command engineering menu, and I hoped that this would do the trick. However in that menu I could not find a region option that seemed immediately intuitive, so I decided to not mess with it.

Is this doable without Star, or do i need to visit a workshop?

What model have you got, and what year ?

It's a 2011 facelift S550. It has the updated command with sd card and usb, if that makes any difference.

I imagine it will need coding with SDS to change some parameters.

Do you have a specialist nearby?
