Changing Steering wheel Cls 2008

As you all know I haven't made a purchase as yet but still waiting and researching various topics.
I have been constantly googling and I have yet to find an answer or I'm looking in the wrong place for one of my questions.
Anyway can someone tell me if you can remove the four spoke steering wheel in a 2008 Cls63 AMG w219 and replace it with the facelift steering wheel 2009 or even better with the newer w218 steering wheel and to have all the functions working. If someone knows or can point me to the right topic. Cheers

You can do the facelift and have the buttons work if you can get hold of an airbag that only has four buttons each side rather than the common five ie one more in the middle. Believe they were only fitted to a very limited run of SLs only.

Current wheel is a non starter for the buttons.

I want to change the wheel on my cls too. But haven't decided yet,for which one to go,i like the carbon fibre one:

maybe someone will know how much will it cost to change it at main dealer? Or do i need to buy a wheel from them also?

Seen them wheels and both are nice, but im surprised no ones done the three spoke steering wheel upgrade
