Cheap dashcam review

The problem is that the camera causes the radio interference.

Not always the case, I found with one accessory plugged into the MB "ringmain" was causing interference through the power feed not a radiated interference.

Easy to check as I said before, run it on its own or external power.

Reading various other forums where people complain of this issue with dashcams, the power source doesnt seem to have much effect.

In my instance the aerial is on the nearside front wing by the A pillar, the same A pillar that I ran my cables down to the fusebox. I think the first thing I should try is rerouting the cable on the otherside, away from the radio.... and by changing to shielded leads as well.

I'm sure there's a simple solution, its just a bit bothersome that this wasnt ironed out by the manufacturer.

Where did you get it for 30 odd quid mate, the link shows it at 60 odd..

The prices fluctuate according to stock levels. It'll be back down to £30 I think a week or so I'm sure.

The other ebay seller that is recommended is eBay My World - estore009 but his stock is also priced higher this week...

Prolly saw your review, Spike and decided he'd make a killing.

All your fault then! :(

Night time footage as requested.

It is a little on the dark side but I think it suffices. I may see if there's any settings that can be tweaked on the camera itself. Here's a 2.5 minute clip driving through Richmond this evening. I think there's a bit of a problem with black cabs. How many can you count?

Oh and at about 53 seconds in you can see a little jump where the join is between two separate clips. There is actually an slight overlap.
