As with all 'used' (new to me) cars there are usually the odd little things that one would like to do to get that warm fuzzy perfected feeling. For me, the previous owner has used a poor colour match touch up pen to cover the odd stone chip on the rear bumper and one on the bonnet.

I'm waiting for a call-back from the one local to me for an appointment but just wondered if anyone else had used such companies before and with how much success?

As with any franchise business, it is entirely down to the skill of the individual who arrives to do the work. Some Chips Away operators are excellent, others less so. It might be worth asking him to start on one of the less obvious areas and see how that looks before letting him loose on the bonnet?

Thanks for the replies, presumably they'll be able to work on areas that have already been 'repaired'
