Chrome keys

The chrome key batteries are removed by removing the key and sliding the black lever in the hole where the key was towards the middle of the key, and at the same time insert your finger nail between the the plastic body and the chrome end where the chrome section can be slid out complete with batteries.

To remove the PCB, insert a knife between the case and the white nylon strip under the PCB and slide the PCB out

The PCB has the same problem in that if dropped the coil could break away from the PCB

Yes as Wully the new key is on the left, the buttons are not in the same place and the new one runs on 3Volt
