i'll try keep it brief as this is keeping me from sleeping !... bought the car with a faulty MAF and in limp mode, replaced with original MB part, also had pending secondary air fault, so i replaced check valve at the same time as it was grotty. convinced all faults repaired i took it to main dealer to erase codes and get health check. while tickling my backside with a feather and relieving me of just over £100, they told me it was a great car and the only problem with it is the outside air temp sensor... 2 days later i'm back in limp mode, took it back to MB and they said there are no errors in ecu but took it out of limp mode and shrugged ? done this 3 times now in 2 weeks. they tell me the ambiant air sensor is nothing to do with it but is only fault on car ? replaced the outside air sensor on the 2nd visit but dash still says +85 deg and im still in limp mode.... does anybody know where the wires go for this sensor ? my WIS says front sam but the loom goes straight past it. i've also metered the wires at the bulkhead and the sensor works ?? i just want to eliminate this sensor before i pay MB to shrug their shoulders again.
