I purchase this vehicle hit in the front. the vehice was repaired and now its running. I picked up the vehicle then i drove it 15 miles no problem. then as i was on my way home it seemed that the charging system was malfunctioning. car shuts of off so i tried to jump start it but that didnt work. i got another battery and it just kept cranking and no start. so i had it towed back to my shop. i checkecd all the fuses and found that there was 15a out on the passenger firewall fuse box. replcaed and car started fine. intermittent issue with some electronics like i cant read the messages, passeger window motor not responding, radio on but no sound. checked voltage at alt and it is 4v???? i read another thread where it see it could be another issue. also under pass floorboard theres a white box that has heavy gauge wire that seems like has gotten burnt very slightly..please help.

Blimey... well sounds like there could be multiple issues here.

I would start with the alternator as it does sound like you have a low voltage issue... But then the burnt wire could be a sign of all sorts of issues.

Good Luck!

My cl55 had a problem when it would cut out and not start for a while and then randoly start working again and it was the crank position sensor... around 40quid from euro car parts, and easy to fit. Could be that.

Is it the front or rear window that isnt working? The control box for them is located under the rear drivers seat. if its a rear window, try unpluging it for 5 mins and then plug it back in. If its a front window, it could be one of the wires has split in the harness from the car to the door where the hinge is.
