I'm currently planning on feeding my CL's tyre habit and was wondering whether anyone else here had any thoughts on the best tyre choice for it.

Unfortunately, the 99Y load rating narrows the choice down quite a bit, but I'm currently dithering between the Continental ContiSportContact 5 and Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

I'm also open to suggestions about alternatives!

I'd be happy with either of those on mine.

Are you looking for something cheaper?

How about Contisport 3 or 2?

Hi Harry, I fitted a full set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports on mine and can't recommend them highly enough, albeit not the cheapest.
They are relatively quite, have great grip/traction and so far seem ok in the wet

Right, it looks like it'll have to be the Michelins then!

Give Paul a ring at Martin Tyres for a price. Five minutes from Junction 3 on the M3 West End GU24 9QG 01276 856846

I've used him for quite a few years now always found him very competitive, a few of the boys have used him in the past.
