Before take car into dealers thought I would ask if anyone else has had the same problem or any suggestions - especially as the problem seems intermittent and knowing my luck it won't be happening when I book it in.
I'm getting a hissing noise from centre air vents, normally when restarting the car from warm. Sounds like air hissing rather than something stuck in the vents.
Hissing stops when hit 'O' on the aircon, but continues when just turn 'EC' off. Changing the fan speed or the temperature makes no difference. Opening or closing the vents makes no difference. The hissing sometimes stops after approx 20mins of driving.
Any ideas / suggestions / experience of this - I think the dealers may need some direction!
