cl63 amg

this is the one i was talking about, i forgot it doesnt have the distronic cruise either which is something i would really want

2003 Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG Kompressor (Face-lifted 500 bhp version) | eBay

thats my point for a 55K with low mileage you will be very lucky to get one for under 10K thats ones 11k with nearly 100k on the clock with a dodgy suspension that will cost £1200 a corner as for this cl63, i would be surprised if it would drop much value in a couple of years as its so rare.

I do love the 55's but I am thinking of selling mine as its poinless for me to own a V8 as I have only done 6000 miles in the last 2 years!

Thats the only reason i can afford to run a V8 ...... 4000 miles last year for me !!

If i was up and down the country all week , i'd have a 1.4 diesel.

I know what you mean I do love the car, but I have just had my first child so we alway go out in the 4x4 at weekends so I only use it for a 4 mile comute to work. seems a waste really

i know what you mean, and at the moment there are very few 52/03 cl55k available, but there are even fewer buyers. you only do a few miles and it sounds like you dont want or need one, this car was made to cover big distances but very few can afford to do big milage in big engined cars

i bet if you turned up with 9k in cash and waved it in his face, i bet he would take it, well he would be silly not too wouldnt he, its been for sale for a while and i guess it will be for sale for some time to come

high milaes and suspesion prob, defo not worth 11k

like i have said, i have been looking at these for a while now and i recon 10k will get you a 70k miles facelift 52/03 cl55k

IMO

I bought my car for the reasons you want to get rid of yours. First baby for us and I do less than 8k a year plus a 5 mile commute. Perfect reasons for a V8 I would have thought.

I think you might be right :) maybe is just because it has a few niggles I need to sort out.

Exactly the same as me!!!!!

Unlike me, I have done approx 80k in 5 years ! drive it everyday, for everything.

Haha... I was filling up at tescos the other day, was just under £100, when I was at the counter paying, the guy who had been in the car across from me shouted "can I have your clubcard points please mate!!!" made me laugh...... I do around 9k a year i recon, probably speand £250 to £300ish a month on fuel at a complete guess.

Anyway........ Can I have your clubcard points please, they would probably feed me for the year :)! Think of the good you would be doing a fellow cl driver :)! :thumb:

The CL63 is a different car though... Cant compare such a limited run model to a mass produced car like the 55 which you can find anywhere.

I would say that though as ive just bought it... soon to be on my website.

well done, you sure do buy some special cars, i know you have a website, but do you buy them to keep or sell?

This one is for the business to sell.

My personal cars are the more classic models.

Let us know how it drives Jay!...

Would be interesting to know how it is compared to the 55 ,55k and 600 V12 CL's?...

Its totally different. The 55 engines are supercharged and so they are a lot less refined and they feel raw somehow... The last time I drove a 55 I just remember the traction light flashing all the time and the car not really being able to handle the power that well.

This has huge power but its delivered in such a refined fashion... the car just soaks it up, no fuss, no shouting, no flashing lights..
It feels slower than it is because of the refinement....you just blip the accelerator and you are doing 3 digit speeds even though it feels like you should still be doing 30...

Its a helluva car and I can see why the previous owner spent a lot of time driving it back and forth from the South of France..
