clk 200 exhaust question

The exhaust manifold on my clk 200 2001 manual is blowing(suspect cracked)anyone know if its a difficult job to get off and fixed (mig welded).thanks Mark

Very straight forward to remove. They do crack and can be welded but they don't always last that long.

You need to remove the compressor to get it off though, not that easy. I managed to get mine welded up on the car.

If it is a compressor. He said it was just a CLK200

Yes its a kompressor

Remove the top half of the compressor to gain access to the manifold. The most difficult bit is the rearmost lower nut on the manifold.

Is it a big job to take the kompressor off

Not at all. It's just nuts and bolts after all!
