Only 1 owner before me from new up until March 2009 (executive owner that commuted from Manchester to London often)
I’ve had it since then and have moved to just round the corner from my work so don’t commute anymore.
Car has had very little mileage put on it in the last 18 months.

Want £6000 with the AMG alloys and In Car Entertainment left with the car.
Can have these bits removed and would sell for £4500 without.

Currently showing 147,000 miles but virtually everything on this car has been changed for new parts so it’s in perfect mechanical condition.

Have spent a small fortune in the last year. (bills to prove it!)
New Brakes
New Tyres
Many new Suspension bushes
New springs and shock absorbers
New high pressure fuel pump Seals / plastic pipes changed.
New Engine & Gearbox Mountings
New Steering Wheel (still have old, it was just a little shiny)
Replacement engine has less than 45,000 miles on it. (most parts were changed for new with this...injectors, pulleys, belts etc etc)
Full service history (the common faults on these have all been rectified under warranty by Mercedes – this includes the dreaded Valeo Radiator and Electronic gearbox)
From memory the gearbox was changed when the car was at 120,000miles, so only covered approx 26k. (will need to search through service history to confirm)

AMG Exhaust
19” AMG staggered Alloys
£5,000 Worth of Audio Visual Installation (a high quality sound, not a halfords boy racer setup!)
Detachable Tow bar (only used once to pull my Jet Ski - normally used my dad’s van)

Everything works on it, have print out from STAR showing NO Faults.
Pillarless windows close perfectly as they should, rubber window seals have regularly been treated to keep them in tip top.
Amazing economy, used to average just over 50mpg on my daily 25 mile commute.
Round town you can still get a very respectable 30mpg+ no problem.
£80 to fill the tank and can get 650miles if you are driving steadily. I usually get between 400 and 500 depending on the type of driving.

Bad Points
Various minor scuffs/scratches on bodywork (have been quoted £500 to have it all as good as new)
Edge of driver’s seat could do with reconnolising.

Have included a picture with the original 16” avant-garde alloys which have sat in my garage for the last year.
Have also got a brand new set of Black AMG overmats, have never got round to putting them in as the grey ones are still as new and really brighten the interior up.

Currently has 6 months MOT and TAX.
Can put a full years MOT on for new owner, for the price of the test. 100% confident it will fly through any inspections.

Selling due to new baby. Looking for a S320CDI.

Going on eBay today. Have bought a S320 cdi and must shift this now.

Some light entertainment for you all, couple of errors in the "narrative" should have planned it out...anyway, far from professional!

For the member that wanted to see the exhaust...yes it is original AMG. I think it came from a crash damaged CLK55. Old box was removed, Exhaust fitter cut the front pipe from my original rear box and cut the amg box and welded them together, he told me the diameter was a perfect fit but the AMG must have had a centre box fitted whereas the cdi doesn't. It still joins as original, and could be replaced very simply if needed.
As far as i'm aware it doesn't sound any different from any other 270cdi.

I'm going to be ebaying the 16" wheels, AMG mats, parktronic kit and all the other spares to raise some cash. I'm hoping to bring the cost of the complete car down to £5500.
I've also just got hold of some BOSE speakers and a smaller 500w RMS 4 channel Hifonics amp.
I'm contemplating exchanging the amp and speakers and bringing the total cost down to £5000 if someone is interested.
It seems from messages/calls i've had that the stereo is just to much for most people. (The headunit alone was originally bought for £1900)
