My car as a broken O/S front and N/S rear springs, my Independent quoted £550 to replace all 4.

They found that the springs are 2X yellow front and rear.

Phoned MB gave them the Vin of the car and they tell me the springs are:
Front 3x Blue and Rear 3x Red
They gave me part numbers and a price £257.

Phoned euro car parts gave them the MB part numbers they came back with 2xfront and 2xread springs made by Sach, and with the code, costs £131.40.

Will these springs be ok Should i buy them, I just want to get from A to B

There's nothing wrong with the sachs springs, I've had a pair of rear ones on my C320 for nearly a year with no problems.

Thanks chalpkin for the reply am going to buy them, its a ZFG make so must be good

There's nothing wrong with the Sachs springs, we fit them as an alternative when customers want to save a few £££.
They still have a 2 year warrenty the same as genuine springs

I replaced the springs on my clk270cdi and at the tine they were cheaper than what ecp could offer.
I have a healthy discount wirh both vendors but mb can normally be pushed a little more on price.
