CLK A208 Door Strap replacement

When i bought my CLK the door strap was removed on drivers side as it had jammed / broke during previous ownership. I've had the door apart and all seems ok so now just need to source a replacement.

I've looked at a few just wanted to check. Are the straps the same on the CLK A208 as the W208. Also are near-side and off-side identical. I've seen a load of Mercedes door straps for sale on fleabay and they look pretty similar. Just wondered if many were used across ranges. Anyone know about these parts. Advice appreciate.

I don't know for sure, but logic says that they would all be the same.

The cost of manufacturing different parts would raise cost and reduce profit

All w208 the same parts except the front wings door mirrors on the cars from 2000 year the wings has no holes for indicator and the door mirror comes with integrated indicators
The door strap is the same
