CLK backbox/chrome exhaust tip

Hi, my W208 CLK 230K currently has the horrible black exhaust tip, i was wandering if anyone had either a chrome tip or a backbox with chrome tip (remus would be nice)

dont know if yours is similar, but I wet & dry papered mine then polished with auto sol paste to a high shine, as the pipe is stainless steel

yeah i tried using autosol but the pipe didnt come up atall..think mines just black :/

Mine is black as well...unsure if there is silver somewhere underneath there!!

Yachtman, what grade paper did you use?

Does the embellisher unbolt?

Might be easier to take it off for cleaning or... replacement with a shiny one from euromercwebstore....

Yes it does , held on with a grub allen bolt underneath ...
