CLK DTM Steering Wheel

Have you sent him a message? Most German sellers state germany only, but if asked will ship.

I have aka$h.... he said no even after I said i'd pay immediately via Paypal etc and to check my feedback.... i have emailed again one last time....

Cheers

Just emailed him myself, but no joy I'm afraid.

Surely you must know someone in Germany that works for your company?

If not, I recon I might...

Nice one Sp!ke

My partner has a friend who lives in Germany, but she's a woman and we know how that could pan out...

did you offer to have it collected from him to save him having to arrange the international shipping?

Nice wheel. Look forward to seeing it on the car.

Greg, get the non DTM ones they are better, i did alot of research into these and they arent so good when driving normally around towns, the flat bottom gets in the way! I had the chance to drive a friends c63 with one and on straight runs fine, but driving around london wasnt that comfortable.

I ended up geting the 63 steering wheel as fitted to the E63, CLK63 and SL63, much nicer!

you can get the non DTM alu paddle wheel from german ebay for about £300, and get the airbags of uk ebay for about £200.

hope that helps

Thanks Alps... I really want the paddles in my 55 to change from the buttons... I see your 55 is a 04 model.. would yours have come with the buttons? Was it a direct swap? Any star bits needed?
My car is a 05 model facelift.... let me know fella...

no probs, yes mine is a 04 plate BUT the build is a MY2005. so its basically an 05 build released early, it did come with buttons but electrics are the same as the paddles. if yours is an 05 it should be fine, straight swap, nothing to do on STAR.

You got a pic of yours?? All i can find is the same as what I have but with paddles.... i want a more grippy contoured wheel...

check my gallery.

its slightly thicker than the standard 05 one and more contoured with the alu flappy paddles
